I'm really glad to hear you've felt helped.  Just one little ask:  you generally don't mark your own post as the solution.  Pick one of the others who replied and whom you felt was most helpful, and assign your "solved" tag there.

Yup, thanks to you Matthew as this was the source of my problem. I just have to say that many replies mentioned chucking most of the mess from my block diagram. But all that extra stuff was useful for me to try to figure out how LV does what it does.
