LabVIEW de-Stress Tricks

So does anyone have any tricks for when you are stressed out and want to blow up your LabVIEW program with dynamite?

Put a Stevie Ray Vaughan CD in the drive and crank it.

My favorite is "The Sky is Cryin'", but your choice may vary.

Jason,

I limit myself to about 4 hours of struggling with a single issue. Then I post it here or on Info-LabVIEW and ask the experts in the community for suggestions. After I post, I play a game of solitaire or go to lunch to allow time for a response. Often a simple hint from a different set of eyes can get things rolling again.

Interesting.....

Whenever I am stressed out in life, I usually go to my computer and code some LabVIEW. 😄

I'm like Altenbach..

but when it is R_E_A_L_L_Y frustrating, like fixing a bug within absolutely unreadable code, I play extreme games, like Quake or "Ping-Pong"....

In extreme cases, you can count up to infinity..

or..  go to the local bar, grab your favorite drink and strike a conversation with a beautiful woman...  that one works best..   (what were we talking about??)  😉

Step one: use the tools provided by NI

Second, think of how you would have done it with C/VB/..... name your poison.

Go home and then drink a beer and come back to work.

For some reason they don't get my point about getting into the LV realm after some beer.....
