I have similar problem using LV 8.5, one VI crashes badly (blue screen etc.) when using a timed loop but not when using a while loop. I'm using a quad core, the idea being that I could assign critical timed loops to different cpus...
This particular VI is reading an analog input relying on the frequency of the card. I use a timed loop to pass the values to variables. An ingeneer from NI told me to do it so that the writing would be more time accurate. Unfortunatly it crashes, so much for accuracy...
Any ideas ?
