LabVIEW control TTI PL303-P power supply

Hi NatKin,

1. Make sure you download 32bits LabVIEW because PL303 vi only works in 32bits.

2. Download PL303 drivers from their official driver website.

3. After you have connection between PL303 and PC via USB, ensure you select the correct COM port in LabVIEW by checking in the device manager.

You are welcome.

Adding for reference:

I've been using the PL155, the 15V equivalant of the PSU in this thread.

Having installed all the drivers as per this thread, I was using Ni MAX to talk direct to the com port to issue the *IDN? command. Reliability was truly awful. I am running on a Win10 machine. The only was to get reliable RS232 comms was to move from the integrated USB connection to the native RS232 port with prolific rs232 to usb conveter. Now I can issue the *IDN? command get a response I one would expect.

I can now use the example Labview code to run with an IVI "resourse" and make the same command (Labview 2020 community 32bit). I should have tried the different connector 5 hours ago and I would have been less stressed.
