I searched all Tektronix drivers at ni.com/idnet for you, but did not find a driver for the VX4457. The next best place to check for drivers will be Tektronix directly. Information about the device and it's operation should also be taken up with the manufacturer or the user manual if available. As far as using VISA functions is concerned, as long as your module is recognized in the chassis and you can see it in MAX, you should be able to open a VISA session to it and begin communication. If it is a messaged based instrument, you'll probably find a nice list of commands in the user manual which you can send to it to establish communication. If it is register based, you will have to read the user manual to decipher exactly what memory to write and read in order to achieve your desired functionality. Again, Tektronix may be able to help you with this, and may have example code from when they developed and tested the device.
