LabVIEW 7.1 installed on my machine

Can I install CVI 6.0 and expect it to operate correctly?

To the best of my knowledge, CVI and LabVIEW are not dependant on each other, so yes, you can.

Both LabVIEW and CVI can co-exist without problems. I don't remember which versions of the device drivers (NI-DAQ, NI-GPIB, etc.) come with CVI. Check them against the device drivers that came with your LabVIEW distribution. Install or re-install the latest.
