LabVIEW 2026 Q3 crashes after Nigel code creation is completed

LabVIEW Professional Development system [2026 Q3 - 64 bit].

I have installed 2026 Q3 version recently, with default settings.

Asked Nigel to create an Elapse timer. It sucessfully created with all the controls and indicators as described. But after creating the VI, LabVIEW started crashing in few minutes.

Can you check %TEMP%\LabVIEW_64_<version>_interactive_<user>*.txt to see if you have any DWARN entries? The system becomes unstable once there are around 50–100 entries!
=> In my experience... 🙂

I had only 6 files in the temp folder. Even after removing then, Nigel is crashing.

I apologize that you're experiencing crashes in LabVIEW. Can you please check if you have Patch 1 installed? How to Identify and Install a LabVIEW Patch - NI

To help diagnose the issue, please contact NI Support and share your log files, which are located in your Documents\LabVIEW Data\LVInternalReports\LabVIEW folder and %programdata%\National Instruments\AIAssistants\Logs folder.
