LabVIEW 2017 and Compiled Applications slow to Start, Crash on exit

Solved!

Kaspersky is quite intrusive and paranoid in my experience, but LV has shown problems with many AV's when e.g. installing.

Great, sounds like Kaspersky was the issue! Can you mark your last response as the solution to make it easy for anyone who sees this thread to find it?

We're going to have our QA team do some more testing today.  If Kaspersky appears to be the cause of both issues I will mark it as a solution.

QA team seems to have indeed determined that Kaspersky is the culprit for both the slow opening and the hang on exit problem

KASPERSKY ENABLED

x64  -Launched 25x – 20 open OK/close OK, 5 slow to open, 5 hang on close.

2 trials opened after ~20 seconds, 3 trials took 1+ minute.  The 1+ minute trials all finished opening immediately after launching Windows Task Manager.

x86: Launched 25x – 20 open OK/close OK, 5 Slow to open, 5 hang on close.

Observation: Slow to open trials always hang on close.

KASPERSKY DISABLED

x64:  Launched 25x – 25 open OK/close OK

x86: Launched 25x – 25 open OK/close OK
