LabVIEW 2017 Missing Express VI's

Hello Everyone,

I just installed LabVIEW 2017 and it appears I am missing several Express VI's. Are these not included in the basic package?

Thanks!

Hi mjeddi,

which ones do you miss?

(Why do you miss them at all? :D)

Best regards,

Hi GerdW,

Thanks for your reply. Well I don't know exactly which ones I'm suppose to have, but I know I don't have the statistics VI or the DAQ VI because I was doing an example problem that needed them, but was unable to find them. Below are some photos of how the express vi menu appears for me for certain categories:

Hi mjeddi,

Hmmm maybe not.....

You can check this in MAX (if installed) in the "Software" subtree.

Are those options available to install for LabVIEW Basic 2017?

Don't know. But atleast DAQmx should be available as it's the hardware driver for most NI stuff!

Why don't you call your local NI sales guy for questions on your license?

Best regards,
GerdW

I tried to go into Tools»Advanced»Edit Palette Set and then in the Functions window clicked on Express>Signal Analysis  and noticed it says "LicErr" in red in each of the icons except Simulate Signal... Any idea as to why? It's strange that these fundamental VIs would be missing from the license I purchased since it was purchased to use alongside the Online Training Modules that require these VIs in the practice problems... Any help is greatly appreciated!

OK I think this confirms that the Signal Processing VIs are not included, at least in the Base Development version... http://www.ni.com/en-ca/shop/labview/buy-labview.html  Smiley Indifferent
