I upgraded to Avast! 8.0 and the issue seems to be gone

I have the same problem, but under Win7/64, AMD 64-bit processor.

 

I have never had the FPGA tools installed...

I also am running LabVIEW development system 32-bit, but on a 64-bit OS...
