LabVIEW 17.0 Development system is not responding to windows

There is no file of name--- LabVIEW.ini  in the \Program Files (x86)\LabVIEW 2017 in my PC. what to next? Any other solution.

You mis-read the previous suggestion.  If you are running 64-bit LabVIEW (besides the obvious question of "Why?  Most of us run 32-bit, as it appears to be more stable ...), you need to look in "Program Files" (where 64-bit apps are stored), not "Program Files (x86)" (which is for 32-bit programs).

In my PC the path is

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011

So, I obviously forgot the "National Instruments" subdirectory in the full path.

The default path depends on the OS and LabVIEW bitness:

LabVIEW 32bit on Windows 32bit: OR LabVIEW 64bit on Windows 64bit:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2017

LabVIEW 32bit on Windows 64bit:

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2017

The extension might not show, depending on your explorer settings.

However, if the file is really not there, maybe we have a permission issue and LabVIEW cannot write to that location for some reason. Do you have admin privileges? What happens if you start LabVIEW in admin mode (right-click...run as administrator)

Since every LabVIEW installation has a LabVIEW.ini file, it's possible that your file was eaten up by the same problem that prevents LabVIEW to start. Not a very useful info, though.

There is not much to do. If LabVIEW.ini is not there, LabVIEW simply creates a new ini file with a few default settings... if it can start of course.
