LV11(64) f2 patch fails to find LV11(64)

I can't run the updates or install the Internet toolkit on my LV11 64 sp1 install. When I run the f2 patch it cant find the sp1 install. If I go into NI Max under software I get the database crash. I go to services and see that NI configuration manager has stopped. It restarts fine but behaves the same way. I have both repairded sp1 and uninstalled and reinstalled it. SP1 installs fine and registers with NI. I can run LV11(64) but I need the Internet toolkit installed. When I do the install it asks for name and S/N but then on the next page shows action as(Installation Summary No software will be installed or removed.)

Hello,

We discussed this in a service request, but I wanted to post the solution here in case anyone else has the same issue.

The Internet Toolkit for 64 bit LabVIEW was never released. There is, unfortunately, only a 32 bit version. An Idea Exchange post has been created requesting a 64 bit version here.

Some customers have been able to get the Internet Toolkit running by copying over the vi.lib/addons/internet folder to 64 bit LabVIEW. It is not a guaranteed solution, but it seems to work well.

As far as your MAX database crash goes, I have seen this problem fixed by a simple reset. Here is a KB that explains how to do this:

I have also seen problems before with the 2011 SP1 f2 patch failing to find the LabVIEW 2011 SP1 install when the 2011 f2 patch was installed instead of the 2011 SP1 f2 patch. Here is the link to the 2011 SP1 f2 patch in case you did not see it:

Thanks Erik
