Placing a horizontal line or a glyph moves any text even if it is on a serperate layer.

I would suggest not to use the icon text tab unless you are using one of the banner templates. The icon text tab tries to center text underneath the banner.  Just use the Text tool for easier placement.

Apparently it existed as far back as LV 2009.  I always used the classic template and it moved the text down.  I always thought that there was something special about the template that it moved text down, but it would seem that it's just because of lines being drawn.
