Issue with NI 5781 adpater and NI 5610 upconverter

Hi,

 

I want to generate an FM signal with 100khz deviation and sampling rate as 100Mhz. i used the FM modulation IP in RF comm lib 3.0 and changed the bit width of the terminals fs/fd to 32 bit. iam using hardware as 7966 flexrio and 5781 adapter card. Also i need to upconvert this signal to UHF band with 5610 upconverter. so i am facing with three problems here.

 

1) changing the bit width of the fm modulator ip will give the desired FM modulation output 

 

2) the maximum sampling rate(IO mod clock 1) of the NI 5781 adapter is 100MS/s and the 5610 upconverter IF is between 15M-35M. when i am generting an FM signal at 20M IF . iam unable to get a pure sinewaveform instead getting a triangular waveform. what would be the possible solution in order to achieve a perfect FM signal out of the NI 5781 adpater with 100 MS/s adc clock rate.

 

3) Does the FM signal at 20Mhz IF and also at UHF band will have the same deviation as 100Khz.
