Issue Connecting USRP-2952R (X310) to PCIe Slot

Dear NI Community,

I am currently facing some issues while trying to connect a USRP-2952R (X310) to a PCIe slot and would appreciate your guidance.

I am attempting to establish a PCIe connection between the host system(which is OAI gNB) and the USRP-2952R, but the device is not being detected as expected. When the USRP is connected via the Ethernet port, UHD is able to successfully detect the device and communication works as expected. However, when I connect the USRP through PCIe, UHD reports “No device found.”

I have verified the physical PCIe connection and ensured that the cable and slot are properly seated, but the issue persists.

If required, I can share additional details such as the host operating system, UHD/NI-USRP versions, firmware version, and any diagnostic outputs.

This worked for me. I was using a laptop with an external thunderbolt PCI Chassis.

1. Restart the system with everything attached.
2. Open Device Manager.
3. Find USRP device.
4. Disable the device.
5. Wait 30 - 60 s
6. Re-enable the device.

I believe there is a WP describing this, cannot locate it now.
