Is there a similar labVIEW driver to the one on NI website for the agilent 4395A that might work instead.

Does anyone know if there is a similar driver for the above instrument that might work instead, Im not going to use the one on the website following advice given in this forum (told that the driver was not a good example and it would be difficult to modify to use as a subVI in a larger program),I found a driver on the agilent website but it does not seem to run on labVIEW(I think!)its a vxiplug&play driver.
if anyone knows or has any suggestions they would be gratefully received,

A plug and play driver is usable in LabVIEW after you do a conversion. After installation per the Agilent instructions, select Tools>Instrumentation>Import CVI Instrument Driver. Essentially what this does is create a bunch of LabVIEW VIs that have the Call Library function that calls the plug and play driver's DLL. The LabVIEW help has a topic called CVI Function Panel Converter that will walk you through all of the conversion steps.
