Is there a Labview feature available to remove NOISE during datalogging ?

Hi

I am using Labview 2010 with a NI USB 6008 datalogger to display to a waveform graph.

I am getting some noise during measurements as expected but before I reach for the capacitors and bridge the terminals is there a Labview feature that will allow me to reduce some of the noise or possibly adjust the level of noise allowed.

there are

- average functions

- (highpass) filters

- (inverse)FFT functions

What else do you need?

I found the filter on the Waveform conditioning pallette which when set to smoothing does what I need
