We are colaberating with another institution that uses programs written in Labview 9.0. Is there anyway to save these files or down convert these files so that we can use them in labview 8.6?

Never mind. I just figured it out on my own.

This thread is purely dedicated for such down conversions. Post there and somebody will convert it for you. If the size is big, zip it and send across.

I have files in labview 2010 which i want to convert in labview 8.6. I need the conversion urgently. can anybody please help me out? The labview project aims at capturing images from a smart camera and save the frames into an avi.

You've already been told where to post the files: Downconvert Requests Thread

If you have LabVIEW 2010, then you can do the conversions yourself.
Only post in that thread if you don't have LabVIEW 2010 and need to downconvert the VI's to LV 8.6.

Since it hasn't been eplicitly said yet, to convert files yourself simply go to File » Save for Previous Version....

I am using labview 8.6...i want to deploy a vi on my smart camera... but when i add my smart camera on my project and then add the vi there is no option coming for deploying when i right click on the vi. what may be the problem? Also i cannot add files under my smart camera, i can only create new file which does not show deploy option. What to do?
