Having been doing programming (in order to do my "real" work in the biological sciences) for several decades, including Interrupt-driven Data Acquisition when PCs were just being introduced, and whose favorite Programming Language used to be Pascal, I'm sticking with LabVIEW for "almost everything" (I'm definitely not into Video Game development ...). Yes, it can be a PITA at times, but the Developers (when you can reach them) and the Community are great resources ...

Glass is sharp and expired fertilizer might be unstable and explosive (nitrates!). A smart pig (and they all are!) would avoid that.
Pigs have excellent noses, that's why they are used for truffle hunting. A strong sense of smell also implies that they detect even the faintest amount of code smell and start digging, potentially leaving an irreversible mess behind. 😄
