Invalid property in LV2014 but good in LV2017

Solved!

Hello,

I have a program which was developed in LV2014 but now my new computer is equipped with both LV2014 and LV2017. the DAQmx version is 17.5.0.

when I use LV2014 to open the program, it shows error (no property found, enclosed) but this error is not there when opened with LV2017.

Thanks so much for your help,

The only thing I can think of is the order that you installed everything. You installed

  1. LV 2014
  2. LV 2017
  3. 2017 Device Drivers

If you installed device drivers last, it should be ok, but if you installed 2, 3, 1, I could see some problems. Either way, try to repair (or uninstall reinstall) the DAQmx 17.5 drivers and make sure to enable development drivers for LV 2014 as you install.

No need to uninstall.  Just run the installer again and make sure the LabVIEW 2014 support is included.  That should be on by default if LabVIEW 2014 is installed.
