I am receiving the following error:
Internal Warning 0xB78CFE1B: "window.cpp", line 8672 LabVIEW version 17.0.1 For assistance in resolving this problem, please contact National Instruments Support
I am running a custom UI for TestStand. The first time the application runs, it runs absolutely fine. But if I keep the top vi open (not running, but just open after the execution finishes) and I click play again, I get the error above.
I can't find the reason behind this, any ideas?
Edit:
I just realised that its saying the error is with LabVIEW 2017, I am using LabVIEW 2016 when this error occurs? (I have 2017 installed though)

It looks like I am getting this issue with 100% repeatability if I use the method "Terminate All" in teststand.
This is getting really frustrating, I'll contact NI help tomorrow about this, but it seems like an ActiveX reference issue

Thank you for sharing the warning info. Could I check if you have tried rebooting the computer after the error occurred? There could be a number of things causing this. The first one that I can think of is that you are loading library files made from different versions of LabVIEW. We have reproduced this problem only with Windows 10, remote desktop, and a computer with a touch screen. Are any of these relevant for your system as well?

Hi,
Rebooting LabVIEW solves the issue (for 1 more run anyway), rebooting the PC does not fix the issue indefinitely.
I will check any library files, but I don't think that is the issue.
I am running Windows 10, with a touch screen. I am not using remote desktop, however those features are available

UPDATE
I have found out some more events that occur that are related to this.
Sometimes, if the "TerminateAll" method is invoked on the TestStand engine, the report that is generated is empty. If the UI is run again, the "window.cpp" error does not occur.
If the report contains data, then the "window.cpp" error does occur

NOTE: Although the report states LabVIEW 2016 is in use (which it is), the actual error that occurs states that the labVIEW version is 2017. I don't understand how this is happening

Have you had any luck in resolving this error? I have some members on my team experiencing the same error for a LabVIEW library built into a DLL being called from an external development environment. It seems to be related to the run-time engine in my opinion.
