Hi All.

 

I was trying to install LabVIEW 7.1 into my laptop. 

 

However, the same message was appeared during the installation.

 

And I also tried to install with LabVIEW 8.6, but still the same problem occured. 

 

The error message as below:

The NI LabVIEW 8.6 installation has failed with the following error.

 

Error 1402. Could not open key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHIENE\SOFTWARE\Classes\LVDB.Application\CLSID.

 

Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personel.

If anyone having the solution of this problem, kindly let me know!

Hi,

 

These problems solved already.

 

However, I have another problem now. 

 

The message appear as attachment when I was trying to install LabVIEW 8.6

 

I'm now using Windows 7.

This question has come up several times already in the forums.  Try searching for Error 12 and Windows 7.
