Implementing PLL in any PXI Hardware

Sir,

I need to implement PLL with the help of Hardware in my application. Do NI has any PXI modules to do that? Whether I can Counter/Timer cards in this regard.

Looking forward you help.

Hi Ramkumar,

I used a 6653 to sync chasis over a mile apart via fiber. They work localy too.

Hi Ramkumar,

Our PXI chassis have PLL capabilities. Are you talking about implementing PLL to the PXI backplane? There are modules that can do that. The 6653 allows multiple chassis to be synchronized together. However, if you want to implement your own PLL with software on one of our boards, you can create a VI that does a PLL based on input/output channels. Check out the following examples for that:

Another solution would be to try to implement the above example in our of our RIO (FPGA) devices, such the PXI-7831R or PXI-7811R. Can you please explain in more detail your application and exactly what are you seeking to implement.
