Image curvature

We have a Matlab routine we run out of Labview that calculates certain distances based on an acquire image.

We have found though that the images have some curvature to them because of the camera that we use.

Is there a way to remove the curvature from our calculations using any of the NI tools so that we end up with true Cartesian measurements?

Thanks.

You should look at "Calibration" inside "Vision utilities". There is several VIs that help you remove warping and curvature of images. This is installed with the Vision Development system and has documentation and examples available.
