Illumination of textured 3D objects

I am able to illuminate non-textured objects in a 3D scene but cannot perform this for textured objects.

Hi Reimar

Without any VI or example it would be very hard to support you Smiley Indifferent

On our homepage you can find this example:

Using the 3D Picture Control 'Create Height Field VI' to convert a 2D image into a 3D textured heigh...

Creating Transparent objects in the 3D picture control

Your VI and a little more precise description would help to find a solution.

Kind regards

Additional information:

You can find some examples here:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2010\examples\picture\3D Picture Control\Using Meshes.vi

Refer to the Using Meshes VI in the labview\examples\picture\3D Picture Control directory for an example of using the New Light VI.

or LabVIEW example finder or in the LabVIEW Help when you are looking for "New Light VI"

Hope that helps

Hi Pixar,

Here is an example documenting my lighting problem. Lighting becomes diffuse as soon as texture is switched-on.
