IMAQdx installed but not in palette

Hi all,

I have made sure to activate IMAQdx. The license manager and MAX both confirm that it was installed.

However, I can't see any of the IMAQdx in my palette, although the existing IMAQdx subVIs in my diagram were successfully found and executing properly.

Do I need to manually show the palette where IMAQdx is installed locally?

Thanks!

You probably need to configure the Block Diagram "gadget" to show Vision and Motion VIs (by default, only a particular subset of VIs, presumably those NI thinks are the best "default" choice) are visible.  To "adjust" this:

  • Open any Block Diagram (even a blank one).
  • Right-click on the Diagram to bring up the Functions Palette.  Check that Vision and Motion are not showing.
  • Click the Pin in the upper left corner of the Palette to "pin" the Palette to the Block Diagram.
  • Click the "Customize" option, and choose "Change Visible Palettes".
  • Check the box next to Vision and Motion.  You can further customize the Palettes as you wish.
  • To finish, just close (upper right-hand corner) the pinned Palette.  You should now see Vision and Motion.
