I want to run my labview application on a remote windows controller

Hi,
I am able to run a specefic application (finding out the system date and time) built on labview, on an RT controller and able to acquire the required data from it. But I am unable to get the same from a PC with windows os running on it. I am using Ethernet cable. Is there any port problem? or are there any settings which needs to be done.

Hi Sreedhar,

Can you ping the Windows PC computer from the computer with the LabVIEW application? Do you know if you are behind a firewall or proxy server? Are you able to open a TCP connection to the Windows PC?

Thank you very much!!! Our systems are running under a proxy server and thats the reason I am unable to run...

now I have rectified that. Thanks anyway.
