Can you bring your 4-20mA current loop to the PC? That is the beauty of a current loop- noise and voltage drop immunity and they are rated for runs of 1000's of feet when properly installed.
But make sure your sense resistor is close to the USB DAQ, since that is the point where the current is changed to voltage and noise and voltage drops apply.
