Jose,

Congratulations on your first Discussion Forum post, I think you will find these forums quite useful.

As for your question, after reading the description, I have found one possible solution in a KnowledgeBase. Here is the link to that KnowledgeBase:

LabVIEW FPGA Module Returns Compilation Errors When I Have Unconnected Outputs on FPGA Device I/O Fu...

I would suggest reading that over and seeing if it applies to your situation. If that doesn't solve the problem, I would suggest that you post back with some additional details on your problem. Some of the things that would be helpful would be your version of LabVIEW, your version of NI-RIO, if you have been able to compile and download in the past, if you can compile and download a very simple program, and any other details that you think are important. With those details, this forum should be better equipped to help answer your question.

I wish you the best of luck with your application.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I am using LabView 7.1, FPGA Module 1.1. I am able to compile small programs and use some I/O. The program I am having problems is when I use arrays. I discovered that if I use arrays in subvi's I receive this strange main error code 1. The problem is that it doesn't give any more description, it just appears the screen empty with this main error code 1. What I did is just get rid of my subvi that has the array and coded what was in that subvi on the main vi with my array and that worked fine.

Jose,

I am glad to hear that you got your application working.

The error that you mention seems strange. In the subVI that you mention, did you have any special properties set for the subVI? Was there anything else notable about the subVI? Can you reproduce the problem with a new VI that you create?

If you are interested in pursuing this further, please post some additional information so that this forum can help you to resolve it, otherwise, I wish you the best of luck with your application.
