I know why NI has gone to subscription model for LabVIEW...

It's because they're getting killed on their subscription model to the forum software!!!😂😂🤣

I have no idea what the Khoros prices are, but I am sure that the savings in first line (and higher!) tech support make up for it. 😄

I don't care why.  The subscription model is not compatible with our business, so we won't go past LV 2021.

I figured it was to pay for NI's recent acquisitions.

 

In 2021 NI purchased both NH Research and Mono Drive companies. 

 

Not long after that they announced the new subscription pricing model...
