i need to edit a vi, which is now an exe file, but do not have labview installed. how can i edit the vi file?

Install LabVIEW, edit the original VI.

A .exe file cannot be reverted to the .vi from which it was built, even if you have LabVIEW. Regardless, without LabVIEW you cannot edit any .vi.
