How would I link a pdf file in a comment box in labview?

I have a quick quesiton....
How would I link a pdf file in a comment box in labview?

That way if the user would want to open up my pdf that talks about lab view the can just click on it instead of searching for in the files..
Thank You,

Jack

Lots of ways...

Command line: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-2204

ActiveX: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-2163

I am sure there are others.  Search terms = labview open PDF

If I am working on a documentation of my VI. And I want to put it into a word document and then make it a pdf.

Is the best way to just copy and past the wires, inputs, etc. into a word document?

Use the code capture tool to make a PNG of the code.

I would use free labels (and possibly even arrows from the decorations palette) in the VIs themselves.  Then I would add overall comments in the VI properties --> documentation --> VI Description so they show up in the context help.

I didn't realize this is related to this post.  I thought you did a good job of documenting it already.  🙂
