I operate a user facility for several testing instruments. I am looking for a Lavbiew VI that will allow user to reserve time on the instruments. I did a search and found the ActiveX Microsfot Calender Control. This will display a calender and allow you to choose the month, year and date. I would like to place a control on the front panel that will allow the user to select the date, be prompted to tpye in the time to reserve ( e.g., 1:00pm to 4:00pm) and have it display on date on the calendar front panel. Is this possible? Thanks.

I was planning on using a dialog box to prompt the user. I am also familiar with the DSC software. I have written a Labview program to that enables only trained users to login to turn on power to my equipment. It tracks there usage time and then log their time and calculate their user fee charges. So I have no problem with prompting users. I have never used any ActiveX controls, so I am not sure how to get the information I want into the type of system. I have tried to write a string to the value property of the ICalender, but was not able to have it convert to the correct format and/or display in the date on the ActiveX calender. It is this area that I am seeking help. Thanks Mike.
