How to sync Software ptp with 6683/6682 timing card or vice-versa?

We have sync two NI PXI RT timings by enabling software ptp from NI Max. Also 6683 & 6682 timing cards are linked with each other and master-slave clock state is verified. But how this card/s can be used to governed the system time in RT PXI as well as the Host PC with windows OS?

Another similar question is how the pci 1588 timing card configured in host PC with windows is used to link up the other host PCs with Windows OS in the same network?

There's a plugin on Sync Labs that allows you to sync system time of a PXI RT controller to the board time of the 6682/3. NI doesn't have a method for synchronizing system time on a Windows host with 1588, but I know there are 3rd party solutions available.

I'm not sure I understand your second question completely, but the PCI-1588's would synchronize each others board time, not the OS time.
