How to specify speed(velocity) for PM500 motion controller using GPIB interface onn labview

We are using labview to control the Newport PM500 C precision motion controller using GPIB interface.

We are unable to specify the speed (velocity) of movement of the axis.

We are looking for a command to send to the GPIB to assign the speed of movement to the axis.

Hi,
You'll need to contact the manufacturer of that instrument as the specify what commands control their device.  GPIB simply provides the protocol to transfer the commands.
