How to set VI in the run mode upon openning

Dear all,

I need set VI in the run mode upon openning because other ppl are not familiar with the Labview enviroment and a wrong click will change the GUI and others. 

How can I set the VI in the run mode upon opening that VI?

Hi powerplay,

you can change the vi property to "run when loaded". Right click on the vi icon and select properties, go to exectution and activate "run when loaded".

I would also suggest you compile the VI. (build application)

The resulting .EXE file will run when opened just like any other program.

This also eliminates the need to have the full development environmnet installed and running just to run a VI.
