Heres why Dennis sounds that way today:
His dog ran away with the neighbour's cat, and then he could not find his favourite t-shirt only to realise the dog was wearing it when running away. When he ran out to look for the dog, he tripped at the door and broke his elbow. At the clinic, the doctor gave him the wrong injection thinking he was the patient with diabetes. In the middle of all this (on his way back from the clinic and just before some bloke rammed into his car) Dennis wrote that reply which sounded harsh.
