How to run vi's exclusively?

Greetings,
Could someone enlighten me on how to run VI's exclusively.
Exampe, I want to turn on a switch in one place and switch it off in another
..
When I use an indicator it flickers indicating that it is reading the switch
as on and off at the same time.
Its an annoying problem,
Help would be appreciated, thanks

Hi Tom,

Can you define a bit more "places"? What do you mean by turning on and off a switch from two places - two VIs?

Also if you can explain what do you mean by:

When I use an indicator it flickers indicating that it is reading the switch
as on and off at the same time.

Where do you use this indicator? How does it flickers? How can a boolean has ON and OFF at the same time?

Best,

Bozhidar

Bozhidar,

This message is over 15 years old.  The person only ever posted 1 message, and according to their profile they registered and their last visit was on the same day Jan 25, 2001.

I'm pretty sure they've moved on past their question by now and aren't looking for any further help.
