I am having same problem with myRIO. Does anyone knows how to reset the password on myRIO?

Yes. I solved the problem. I was using LabView 13 on Windows 10 with is not supported with this version.
You have to instal labView 15 SP1 or higher version and myRio Toolkit v15.
Then you can start the Getting starded wizard and then reinstall a software on myRio.
After that there is no password. MyRio is resetted to default settings.
Hope I helped.
Best regards.

This is a problem that I faced 3 or more times, and I have to start from scratch.
The problem is that the mDVI cable, if used with a DVI monitor will not show you the information on the display.
When booting, with a VGA adapter, you will see the NI logo and the option to enter the BIOS.
From there, you could make it boot from a USB drive and overwrite everything, OS, Password, etc and start from zero.
This is the real good way to do it.
I just did it again on a system that had the password that would not bulge.
