How to put object HOG template into IMAQ extract HOG feature vector ?

I'm quite new to machine vision and currently on a project detecting human head/ face , I know how hog works but I don't know how to apply it in labview, how to extract hog features from an image then compare? ( I don't know the exact word ) with the "face hog feature template" , then overlay the face in the original image
