Suppose one Character is there,Ex-8,i Want to overlay around the boundary of the 8,not full Character.

Hi Dibya,

i'm still not really sure, but if i understand it correct, then you can use the image functions to draw over the loaded picture.

If you want to overlay 8 feed top,left  : bottom,right to overlay rectangle. If you are using a pattern matching the u can do this. If u want to overlay 8 then u might need to use Imaq overlay points and u need to pass on array of points.

Not the rectangle amtalking,am talking about boudary of an character.Overlay should happen only on the outer part of the image.

Ya mike,u r correct that by using Imaq overlay point i can do,before that i want that array of points having only outer bondary points.can u help me to find the point on the boundary or outer part.
