There are 2 parts here, and in both we can't really help you without more info from you.
You need to know the protocol because unless you know what kind of command the RF unit expects, you can't know how to convert your data to fit that command. You also need to know it to actually construct the command itself.
You can convert numbers to the string you will need to send using the VIs in the string palette, but you will need to know what the unit expects.
If you understood how serial communication works in LV (from the examples), you should be fine once you have the protocol.
