How to find Functions in Labview

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello Labview Forum,

for a Project i watched the youtube Video:

Fuzzy controller Design in LabVIEW

by salim khan

and wanted to create the Same Program in my Labview 2021 i know he is using Labview 2015.

He uses some functions like step, gain etc. that i cant find in my labview by pressing ctrl + spacebar.

My question is now:

-can i get the same functions as him with a Package i didnt Download yet?

-are those no more available in 2021?

-where do i find these functions if they exist already but dont show up?

Thanks a lot in advance

Tomlab

Hi tomlab,

did you install the PID&Fuzzy functions, found in the Control&Simulation functions palette?

(Do you use the English LabVIEW version?)

Best regards,

What edition of LabVIEW are you using (Community, Basic, Full, or Professional)?  I think those functions are included with Professional (and therefore Community).

Looking at the video you are missing the 'LabVIEW Control Design and Simulation Module' (https://www.ni.com/de-de/shop/software/products/labview-control-design-and-simulation-module.html), which is an extra module you have to pay for.

LabVIEW Control, Design, and Simulation Module is now only available for purchase as part of LabVIEW Professional.
