How to determine a mouse click

I am trying to create a three-way button that will remain pressed when the mouse is clicked constantly and will go back to it's original position when mouse button is left.

You might be able to use the picture controls. I've made some three-way switches using the picture control and it works pretty good.

You can either import actual pictures of switches or just draw them with the picture functions. Then on the picture contol itself, you can detect mouse clicks and position to decide what you want to do.

The attached library has one collection of my switches along with a couple text files describing how to use them.

You may be able to modify these to do what you want or use them to build your own.
