How to add a tag to my forum post?

Hi everyone,

Really dumb question. I am trying to add a tag to my post so I can notify people; however, I don't see anything on the forum on how to add a tag to the post. Can anyone help me out?

to the right of the message editor box (or below) you find the "message tags" input field when you write a message...
