How to add a new arm processor to labview!!!

Hi...

I'm using Labview 2009 for using the Arm embedded module.

I plan to use the LPC1768 NXP Cortex-M3 microcontroller. when i was going to create a new ARM project, i couldnt find this Micro in the Target Processor Type!!!

How can I Add a new MCU to the Labview?

welcome to any suggestions!!!

Do you really need it?

Adding a new unsupported processor to LabView brings a lot of problems.

These links should help you

Dear Comper

I do not really want to add an unsupported processor to labview!!!

The related Docs said that the LPC1768 from NXP is supported by the ARM Embedded Module

but there is no LPC1768 MCU in my Processor type list when I was going to create a new ARM Project!!!

So what should I do? How can I Update or add or whatever to solve this problem!?

TanQs for ur support (^_^)

Hi,

If you have NI LabVIEW Microprocessor SDK installed then you should follow the tutorial linked in the post above. If you don't have NI LabVIEW Microprocessor SDK then you would need to modifying a generic 'Other' target project that is installed by the LabVIEW Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers to work with LPC1768. See this tutorial for more details. As explained in the tutorial you will need to physically change the TgtSupp.xml to include the LPC1768 as a target.
