Interesting.  I never considering this before.  What limitations of property nodes are you referring to with the use of Strict Type defs?


 

I don't have them memorized but I believe the background color is one of them.

Another option that not only will allow you to make cosmetic changes and syndicate them to all of your controls but also will let you encapsulate other logic is Xcontrols they are very powerful for this and much much more.
