How do you get rid of the shadow and lighting effects on a boolean switch in version 6.1

I would like to get rid of the shadow and lighting effects on a boolean switch in version 6.1. How do I go about doing this.

I do not think you can get those features away. What you could use is classic buttons/controls, also available on the palette.

To get rid of the shadow, Customize the button to take it into the
control editor. Change to Custom mode -- the tweezers -- and then you
can color the shadow to be transparent. I'm not sure what you mean
about the lighting effects. If you want it to look less shiny, you
might try some different colors, but the lighting model and shininess of
the object are not configurable.

If you know what you want it to look like, you can copy the button, take
it to a paint package, export it masked using something like a png or
gif, then reimport it into LV and Import the picture to replace the
built-in one on the button.
