How do I know the gain setting on my DAQ input?

I understand that I can get improved precision by reducing the range of the DAQ input channel via MAX or LabView.
Is there any Labview VI I can use to check the exact gain setting on the input channel? I essentially want to ensure the DAQ card in working fine.

I believe the function you are looking for is located in Functions >> Data Acquisition >> Analog Input >> Advanced Analog Input >> AI Hardware Config. Check the LabVIEW Help for an explanation on this VI. The output Group Channel Settings will contain the overall gain for your system.
