How do I get a list of current databases?

Hello,

I'm using DSC v8.2 and I'm looking for a way to list the databases currently on a local or remote computer. Anyone know how to do this? I'm using the Get Process Log State VI to get the database name from every process, but for some reason it's skipping a few databases, one of which was previously archived from another database and now attached as a new database. Refer to the three images for more details. You'll notice that the database arrays in the Front Panel is missing the database "Archive - 060423-070602 Test 2", which is clearly present in the Measurement and Automation Explorer.

How do I list all the databases? Please help.

Thank you,
James Pham

Hi James,

The only way I know of to get a list of the available Citadel databases is to use the Browse Database.vi which allows the user to select the database they want. The Get Process Log State.vi only returns the names of the databases configured for that particular process, so that could be the reason you are not seeing all of the available databases.
